A fractional Head of Canada for food, drink and consumer brands.

Distributors, brokers, agencies. They all work on your brand. I work for you.

Each of them does one job, for many brands at once. I join your team part-time to run your brand, marketing and online sales here, and keep every partner pulling in the same direction.

Built for brands from

Australia
Ireland
the UK
New Zealand

…and anywhere else, if Canada is a market you're serious about.

The Gap

You hired partners. Nobody is managing them for you.

Every outside partner in Canada does one piece of the job, for many brands at once. From head office, thousands of kilometres and several time zones away, it's hard to see how the pieces fit, or when one of them stops pulling its weight.

Your distributor

Buys and moves your product. Building your brand isn't their job.

Your broker

Pitches buyers and manages listings, across a long list of brands.

Your agency

Runs its own channel and reports on its own numbers.

Your Head of Canada

Sits on your side of the table, connects all of it, and answers to you.

Team member, not agency.

A full-time country manager is a big commitment for a market you're still proving. This gives you the same person on your side, sized to where Canada is today.

A Typical Agency

Several clients in your aisle

Works inside your business: your calls, your Slack, your goals

Works on your account

Reports on all of Canada: retail, Amazon.ca, online and marketing

Reports on its own channel

Recommends what Canada needs, even when that's someone else

Recommends more of what it sells

One brand per category, so there's never a conflict

What I cover

Three jobs, one person accountable.

Strategy and the hands-on work, handled in-house through Sunnyboy's creative and ads team.

Plus one monthly report to head office.

Scope of work: I don't negotiate distribution contracts, plan trade spend or handle logistics. I work alongside the specialists who do, hold them to what they committed, and bring in trusted experts when you need them.

Every channel on one page: what happened in Canada, what's working, what's stuck, and what's next.

1. Intro call

30 minutes on where you are in Canada and where you want to be. Scheduled around your time zone.

2. Canada audit

In the first 30 days I meet your partners, walk the shelves, review Amazon.ca and your online presence, and hand you a clear 90-day plan.Amazon.ca setup or takeover

3. Monthly retainer

I work as part of your team from month to month, with a three-month minimum. Ad spend and larger shoots are billed separately.

How it works

Start small. Grow in Canada.

Who you'd be working with

Hi, I'm Allan. I own and build Canadian food brands, too.

I founded Chuck, a Canadian beef stick brand, and Sunnyboy, a creative and ads studio for food and drink brands. I've spent years in marketing, e-commerce and content across many different categories. I deal with the same shelves, platforms and partners you do, from the brand side.

Based in the Toronto area, close to the head offices of Canada's biggest grocers.
